A great Merlot. Carlos Esteva, lover of the wines of Pomerol, was a pioneer in introducing this variety in 1981, with excellent results. An elegant red and longevity, which comes from a parcel currently working with biodynamic methods of viticulture.

Varieties: Merlot.

First Vintage: 1990.

VINIFICATION

Made from hand-picked grapes grown on old vines. Traditional fermentation for 21 days without the addition of selected yeasts. Malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels. Aged for 12 months on French oak and a minimum of 8 years in the bottle.

TASTING NOTE

Colour: deep terracotta red. Aroma: rich and complex of the aromatic herbs of the Massif. Taste: intense, warming, round and pure with undertones of ripe dark fruits. A wine to be savored; it has a long finish.

FOOD PAIRING

Red meat and game, mature cheeses, rich casseroles and sauces.
